Focused on the Endesa League to visit the Casademont Zaragoza’s court
Valencia Basket focuses on the Endesa League to try to break its bad dynamics in the national competition visiting Casademont Zaragoza’s court almost two years after its last visit in a gamecorresponding to round 30 (Sunday 11, 8:00 p.m., Príncipe Felipe, Movistar Deportes 1).
After the wear of their Turkish Airlines EuroLeague game against TD Systems Baskonia and waiting to know if their continental season is over, the taronja squad needs its best version to contain the second best attack in the Endesa League and maintain its shooting accuracy in a back-and-forth game to end a streak that is now four losses in a row in the acb.
The taronja squad will try to do so on a night in which captain Bojan Dubljevic can become the third player in the Club's history to reach 500 games with the taronja jersey. And in which power forward Jaime Pradilla will return to Zaragoza for the first time to play with the away team's jersey.
Valencia Basket has recent precedents in its favor (has won in its last five visits to Zaragoza) although in its last game at the Principe Felipe suffered to maintain the good streak and in the first leg game had to recover 21 points to end up adding the win by 93-84.
Coach Jaume Ponsarnau has his entire squad, including Icelandic Martin Hermannsson who has overcome a fiber break in the soleus of his right leg, although to play this game must be activated in national competition. The taronja team currently occupies the sixth position in the Endesa League with 17-11 in the standings.
